Dear UAHA Scholars,

We’re excited to share two upcoming volunteer opportunities where you can connect with our alumni community and help make these cultural events a success. Participation in either (or both!) counts toward your UAHA Scholar volunteer requirement.

📍 Encuentro @ Guerrero Student Space

🗓️ Thursday, September 18

Encuentro Volunteer Sign-Up

Encuentro is one of Guerrero Student Space's largest events.  This is a great way to connect with students, alumni, community members and the services available at Guerrero.  We need volunteers for food distribution and clean up after the event.  Please include your email with your name on the spreadsheet.

📍 Hispanic Heritage Game Tailgate

🗓️ Saturday, October 4 (Time TBD)

Tailgate Volunteer Form

The tailgate event is a great opportunity to connect with alumni and community members.  We will need volunteers for set-up, during the event, and clean up after the event.  The time is "to be determined" as the game time will be set closer to the game day due to television scheduling.

Your time and energy make a real difference in the success of these programs and in building our UA Hispanic Alumni community. We’d love to see you there!

*As a reminder, please complete the Volunteer Requirement Form after volunteering at either event.

Thank you for your support,
UA Hispanic Alumni (UAHA)

Volunteer Requirement Form

AFTER you have completed the volunteer requirement, at the above events, or at another event, please complete the Volunteer Requirement Form.  Thrive Center staff will then check off your volunteer requirement in your Cat Cloud plan.
