Spring group meetings are here!  If you have already registered, you should have received your group meeting confirmation email.  If you have not yet registered for a group meeting and participated last fall, you can quickly register using our 1-minute form.  If you have not yet registered for Peer Mentoring, simply complete our easy registration form.

What are Group Meetings?

Group meetings are laid back discussions led by two peer mentors with a small group of first-year students.  They discuss important topics to help you finish the year strong and be ready to succeed in your second year.  Topics include finding a community for support and belonging on campus, maximizing campus resources (that you have already paid for!), strategies for combating imposter syndrome, making career moves, building your financial wellness skillset, and tools for self-care during stressful times.  We'll provide some tools and strategies in each session, but also invite participants to share their knowledge with their peers.

When Do They Meet?

Groups are named after different wildcats and have a bi-weekly (every other week) meeting pattern.  See the list below for groups, meeting times and the peer mentors facilitating each one.  Meetings either occur during an A week or a B week, and are noted in parentheses.  For a full semester calendar, click the link below.

*Note: for the fourth cycle of meetings there will not be any regularly scheduled group meetings.  Instead, everyone will pick a wellness week session to attend during the B week (week of 3/25).  Dates and times for wellness week will be shared before spring break.

What is EDGE?

EDGE is a university system mostly used to house trainings and certifications for University staff.  We will use EDGE for Peer Mentoring to track participation so you can easily see if you are making progress.  This will then be retained in the system to show you have completed it at the end of the semester.  If you have a program requirement for scholarships like Arizona Assurance or any of the alumni club scholarships, this will allow you to see your attendance.
